2011-Current Art Handler Free-lance/New Museum of Contemporary Art New York, NY
Duties Include: move and unpack delivered artwork to the museum. help with all facets of the installation and assembly of artwork. build and prepare walls and pedestals for final presentation of art to be displayed. deinstall all works to be removed from gallery.

2011-Current Security Officer New Museum of Contemporary Art New York, NY
Duties Include: protecting fine art and ensuring a safe environment for museum patrons, operating radio communication, interacting with visitors while maintaining an air of professionalism and reverence for the artworks, gallery inspections, communication with the conservation and visitor Services departments, communicating with command, following protocol and being prepared to handle emergency situations.

2009-2011 Graduate Teaching Intern Maryland Institute College of Art Baltimore, MD
Duties Included: reviewed student portfolios and applications. gave studio visits, critiques and professional development counseling. helped coordinate the senior thesis exhibition, this includes mapping and placement of each students work based upon their proposal, negotiating this placement with the other departments and the actual hanging of the show at the end of the semester. gave presentations on my work and participated in the students reading discussion panels. worked with the professors in developing course outlines and projects as well as teaching a part of the semester’s course. collaborated with professors in evaluating student performance and grades. administered the hazard communication exam. worked closely with all sculpture procedures.

2004-2009 Teacher The Huntington School Of Fine Arts Huntington, NY
Duties Included: teaching sculpting techniques and concepts including plaster molds, clay modeling, direct plaster, welding, basic carpentry, technical drawing and all other processes needed for students to successfully achieve their projects. delving into all phases of the sculptural process from concept to the final presentation and of the photography documentation. performing individual and group critiques. gallery coordinator and curator. promoting and planning all school events such as field trips, portfolio days, movie nights and more. design posters and brochures for events and handle bulk mailings. assisting students, parents and college representatives during portfolio day and other school events. managing as many as five student apprentices. in charge of studio maintenance and supply inventory.

2008 Visiting Artist Walt Whitman High School Huntington, NY
Duties Included: gave a lecture on the first day explaining a brief history of abstraction, what it is and the processes it takes to create it. on the second day we had a life drawing studio in which we applied the teachings from the previous day.

2006 Artisan The New Foundry Brooklyn, NY
Duties Included: assisting with bronze pours, making slurry molds, gaiting and shelling of waxes, divesting bronze casts, Delivery and pickup of finished artworks and supplies, general studio maintenance.

2003 Artist in residence Kutztown University with Professor Phoebe Adams Kutztown, PA
Duties Included: continuing to build my portfolio for graduate school, assisting the professor with classes, assisting students after class hours, shop maintenance.

2004 Studio Assistant to Ken Pierson former Director of Peters Valley Craft Center and head of Special Topics department
Duties Included: assisting visiting artists teaching at the center, studio maintenance, slide presentation and lecture. various classes were: building a foundry For casting bronze with artist mauricio trenard sayago, printing with colored clays with artist mitch lyons, glass bead making with artist jane ayers.

2003 Sculptor and Wax Chaser West Art Springmount, PA
Duties Included: restoration and remodeling of wax casts.

2002-2003 Studio Monitor Kutztown University under Professor Phoebe Adams Kutztown, PA
Duties Included: cleaning studio, monitoring machine and tool use, inventory of supplies, assisting the professor with lectures and demonstrations, assisting students with projects.

1999 Arts Alive Teachers Aid Keystone College with Professor Cliff Prokop La Plume, PA
Duties Included: assisting high school students with the processes of bronze casting.
